Skillset Cymru – Final Cut Pro for Digital Content Producers   

DV Talent is delighted to have been chosen to run the ‘Editing for Non-Editors’ training scheme for Skillset Cymru.

Overview

This intensive, hands-on course will give delegates a thorough grounding in Final Cut Pro in order to create rough cut assemblies and advanced edits of their programmes as well as the skills needed to distribute and showcase their work across different platforms.

As well as learning how to use the editing software - including customising preferences and settings, editing in the timeline, capturing video, and basic graphics and text - the course is also designed to enhance creativity amongst all genres of programme-makers as learning editing techniques and how material best cuts together will help improve producing, directing and storytelling abilities.

Who is it for?

Multi-skilling producers, directors, camera operators, APs, researchers and other digital content creators who want to put together rough cuts, taster tapes or more advanced edits of their programmes. Execs and production managers who need to understand the opportunities and issues involved in running multi-skilling teams.
