NEW – Skillset awards biggest-ever grant to train next generation of TV’s creative leaders

DV Talent, in partnership with Jill Tandy and Janet Evans of Adsum Consulting, is delighted to have won the bid to run Skillset’s Creative Leaders’ Development scheme.
This major, new 12-month professional development programme will help 25 experienced TV creatives master the significant technological and economic challenges facing the television industry. It features bespoke coaching, one-to-one mentoring with senior industry figures, business masterclasses, industry-specific management and leadership training and broad networking opportunities.
The scheme is supported by Pact and Nesta, together with Olswang and Grant Thornton.
Peter Dale, TV Skills Council Chair, said: “The economic downturn has placed a considerable strain on the television industry. At the same time producers and broadcasters are coming to terms with big changes across the media landscape. This training programme will enable key talent to tackle these challenges head-on.”
